Estimator - Mechanical Piping (Construction)My client based in the Delaware Valley area is actively seeking an experienced Estimator with mechanical piping experience for water and/or wastewater treatment plants.
Job DescriptionReview bid documents and RFP's to determine the scope of work and prepare estimatesWork with and review subcontractors quotes for the outlined scope of work, costs, etc.
Provide quantitative take-offsNegotiate and work with suppliers for material cost & availability.
Able to communicate and interact with vendors, subcontractors and client Skills required include excellent customer service & negotiation skillsAbility to read project diagrams, drawings and specificationsAbility to meet deadlines for estimates/bidsQualificationsFive (5) or more years of relevant estimating experience Able to read drawings and specification, compile an accurate take-off and summaryStrong working knowledge of mechanical system in Industrial mechanical contracting, mechanical construction field.
Knowledgeable in the use of computerized estimating program as well as proficiency in Windows/PC-based softwareProven success and profitability in estimating experienceStrong communication and negotiation skills, excellent team playerExcellent communication skillsMicrosoft Proficiency:
