Position SummarySURVICE Engineering is looking for entry-level (1 to 2 years' experience) or mid-level (3 to 5
years' experience) software engineers to help with growing workload at our Applied Technology Operation, which focuses on research and development activities and custom software applications.
Specific skills will depend on each individual project but may include work and experience in low-level high-performance code optimization, computer vision, 3D visualization, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), and embedded systems.
While proficiency in all of these elements isn't required, we are looking for talented individuals with a strong basic computer science background and a thirst to tackle new jobs and learn new skills while working in a dynamic and challenging environment associated with research and development.
Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesResearch new technologies and software libraries that may be applicable to our product roadmap and visionSupport proposal development activitiesBrainstorm, conceptualize, design and prototype new systems and software architecturesAnalyze and implement solutions for technical design challenges that ariseValidate software and system performance through experimentationQualificationsMinimum BS in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering (advanced degree's a plus) along with practical experience in design, analysis, and testing of products/systems.
Writing software using C/C++, C#, CUDA, PythonDeveloping custom applications using Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Odroid, BeagleboneEnthusiasm to explore new and innovative processes, ideas and techniquesExceptional communication skills; verbal, written and presentationExcellent analytical and organizational skills, coupled with well-focused attention to detail self-driven with minimal supervision, a collaborative team player with a successful track record working with cross-functional teamsTeam player with a winning positive attitudeAbout UsSURVICE Engineering is a nationally recognized, single-source engineering service provider for Government and Industry organizations involved in all phases of the systems engineering process.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
